Immediately Inspect Merchandise Upon Receiving

When you receive your merchandise please open your package immediately and inspect it for any manufacturing defects or shipping damage. If you have any issues with your order you need to report it within 2 weeks of receiving it.

Blinds that Arrive Damaged or Defective

Steve’s blinds are guaranteed to be first quality and to ensure you receive them as quickly as possible are shipped directly from the factory. Blinds are custom made to your exact measurements and specifications and are backed up by Steve’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. In the unlikely event you receive your blinds defective or damaged Steve’s will arrange for immediate replacement and the return of your original order. The manufacturer may require visual proof of the defect (digital photo, return of the product or in-home inspection).

Blinds Return Policy

Custom blinds and shades are not returnable. When you receive your merchandise please open your package immediately and inspect it for any manufacturing defects or shipping damage. Blinds ordered from Steve’s are custom made based on our customers’ exact measurements and specifications and therefore once the order is placed it is not cancelable and not returnable. Prior to placing your order with Steve’s please make sure to follow Steve’s easy measuring instructions and if you have any questions prior to placing your order please call or e-mail one of Steve’s Blind Specialists who will be more than happy to answer any questions that you have. To ensure our customers receive their order as quickly as possible orders are sent in real-time to the factory to begin production. In today’s world, electronic data goes over instantly. It is rare to be able to cancel an order after it is placed. A refund cannot be approved or processed for a canceled order until Steve’s is able to receive confirmation from the factory as to whether the factory has begun the production of the order. Steve’s Blinds and Wallpaper offers a free extended limited warranty on all blinds sold. Steve’s Blinds and Wallpaper warrants all blinds sold will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original residential purchaser owns the product, provided that the product was installed properly and in accordance with the installation instructions. Wallpaper Return Policy

When you receive your merchandise, please visually inspect the package and wallpaper rolls for any noticeable signs of defect or damage. If the wallpaper is not damaged or defective and you need to return the paper, the manufacturer will only accept returns on unopened rolls of wallpaper If you have any issues with your order you need to report it within 2 weeks of receiving it. Wallpaper is returnable within 30 days of receipt and is also subject to a manufacturer’s 30% restocking fee and shipping charge. Steve’s cannot accept returns on single rolls, cut rolls, yards or fabric unless it is received damaged, defective, or you do not receive exactly what was ordered. Please remember that computer screens vary in color and cannot always display textures, if you are unsure of the color or texture we do offer samples at a nominal fee. In most cases murals and borders are not returnable however, where individual manufacturers allow the return, Steve will accept these returns subject to the manufacturer’s 30% restocking fee and shipping charge. Steve’s Shipped Next Day or Free Collection and Steve’s Super Value Wallpaper are not returnable unless they are defective. To ensure our customers receive their order as quickly as possible orders are sent in real-time to the manufacturer to ship out the order. Steve’s understands that there are instances where customers may need to request to cancel their order. In these instances Steve’s will do its best to accommodate its customer’s request to cancel by contacting the manufacturer to determine whether or not the manufacturer has actually packaged and shipped the order. A refund cannot be approved or processed for a canceled order until Steve’s is able to receive confirmation from the manufacturer as to whether the factory has begun the production of the order.

If you need to return wallpaper it is important to e-mail us to obtain a return authorization # and the correct address where to return your wallpaper. Wallpaper returned without proper authorization # will be returned to customer.

Wallpaper that Arrives Damaged or Defective

All of Steve’s wallpaper is guaranteed to be first quality and to ensure you receive your order as quickly as possible are shipped directly from the factory. If, for any reason, you receive wallpaper that is either damaged or defective, Steve’s will immediately order new wallpaper and will arrange for the return of your original order. In the unfortunate event that we are not able to replace your damaged or defective wallpaper we will issue a full credit back to your original method of payment.

Draperies/Curtains and Rods that Arrive Damaged or Defective

Steve’s Draperies/Curtains and Rods are guaranteed to be first quality and to ensure you receive them as quickly as possible are shipped directly from the factory. In the unlikely event you receive your Draperies/Curtains or Rods defective or damaged Steve’s will arrange for immediate replacement and the return of your original order. The manufacturer may require visual proof of the defect (digital photo, return of the product or in-home inspection).

Draperies/Curtains and Rods Return Policy

Draperies/Curtains and Rods ordered from Steve’s are custom made based on our customers’ measurements and specifications and therefore are not returnable and are not refundable. Prior to placing your order with Steve’s please make sure to measure and select correct style and color and if you have any questions prior to placing your order please call or e-mail one of Steve’s Window Treatment Specialists who will be more than happy to answer any questions that you have.

Free Shipping

All wallpaper orders include FREE Ground Shipping to your home or office. Most blind orders include FREE Ground Shipping to your home or office in the contiguous United States. Some manufacturers charge an oversized freight charge per order (regardless of the number of blinds) on extra wide blinds because they must use a special delivery company. The width when oversized freight charges apply varies depending on the manufacturer (usually it is around 92"s or wider) and the charge may be up to $100 per manufacturer per order. Most blind orders ship within 3 to 5 business days. We do ship to Canada and all other countries. Please call us or send e-mail for applicable charges.

No Sales Tax

Steve’s Blinds & Wallpaper does not collect sales tax except for orders shipped to Michigan and California.

Coupons & Discounts

Coupon codes may be subject to limited time use. Coupon codes may only be used once per customer. A maximum of three total coupons/discounts may be applied to an order, this includes any already applied coupons/discounts. Coupon codes cannot be used towards previously placed orders.

Next Day and 2nd Day Air

Most orders can be shipped next day or 2nd day air for an additional charge. Selecting this shipping method does not speed up the manufacturing of your order. It only speeds up the delivery of your order once it leaves the warehouse.

Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and Foreign Country Orders

We do offer shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and all foreign countries. For blinds Levolor and Kirsch only charge an additional $35 per order to ship to Alaska and Hawaii. For shipments to all other countries please call us or send e-mail for applicable shipping charges.

When to Schedule a Wallpaper Hanger

If you are ordering multiple wallpaper patterns you should wait to make arrangements with your wallpaper hanger until you have received your entire order. You should also wait to begin hanging your wallpaper until you receive your entire order. Our wallpaper ships directly from the manufacturer to you and when ordering multiple patterns it may arrive in different packages at different times.

Hunter Douglas prohibits the offer and sale of the following products, All Alustra® Collection products, Alouette® LightLouvers, Architell™ Collection, Bridgeway specialty shapes, Cadence™ Soft Vertical Blinds, Country Woods® Expose wood blinds, Duette® Architella™ Collection, Heritance® hardwood shutters, Luminette® Privacy Sheers, Nantucket™ window shadings, NewStyle® hybrid shutters, Palm Beach™ Polysatin shutters, Park Lane™ Privacy Sheers, Piroutte® Window Shadings, Reveal™ with Magna View™, Silhouette® window shadings, Skyline™ Gliding Window Panels, Trio® Convertible Shades, and Vignette® Modern Roman Shades over the Internet, via 800#s and faxed or e-mail transmitted orders since these methods of placing orders are incapable of providing national direct measuring and installation support. These products are available to customers that reside in Michigan. Steve’s savings statement of 25% to 85% of retail prices does not apply to the above referenced products.

Steve’s Branded Express 1 Day Production or Free Guidelines

Express 1 Day Production or Free blinds apply to standard blinds with standard options (see schedule below as to which options are included and not included under this offer). This offer does not apply to orders paid by e-check and it does not apply to oversized blind orders (blinds that are 96" or greater in width), any delays that are caused by natural disasters, backorders, manufacturer delays or if your order contains over 25 blinds.

To qualify for this offer order placed before 8am Eastern Standard Time will ship out from the factory by the end of the following business day (weekends and holidays* are excluded days). For example, orders placed on Monday before 8am (est.) will be shipped from our factory by the end of the next business day which is Tuesday. Another example, orders placed on Friday after 8am (est.) or any time over the weekend will be shipped from our factory no later than the end of the business day on Tuesday.
