The following select utilizes the left, up, right, down, escape, page up, page down, home, and end key commands. Left and Up arrows move to a previous item. Right and Down arrows move to the next item. Page Up and Home will take you to the very first item in the list. Page Down and End will take you the very last item in the list. Escape will close the list. Tab can be utilized to focus in on the anchors to click them.
The following navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move through main tier links and expand / close menus in sub tiers. Up and Down arrows will open main tier menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Choose the measuring methodâ There are 2 methods for measuring windows:
1. Window Size Measuring for inside and outside mounts
2. Frame Size Measuring for outside mounts only.
Window Size Measuring
The factory makes all the frame additions and deductions.
Ensure proper mounting clearances.
If you are mounting inside mount and you using a window size measure method:
Measure width & Height in 3 places and record the smallest measurement. The table below shows the deductions the factory will make to the window size.
Note: For inside mounts â Check window to ensure it is square by measuring diagonally. If diagonal differ by up to ½â use a Z frame. ½â to 1â use Trim or Deco Z Frame, if over 1â must mount outside mount.
Clearance â Ensure that there is proper clearance inside of window jamb to accommodate the frame.

3 Situations that require frame size ordering:
1. Window with Lack of Proper Clearance: Order by frame size whenever there is a lack of proper clearances around window. Our standard factory additions will not work in these situations.
2. Mounting on Molding: Make sure there is a wide and flat area on molding for shutter frame to sit on. The clearance area require on molding is listed on the table below:

Mounting Options
1. Outside Mount
Outside mounts are very popular and highly recommended as they do not close up the windows.
There are 3 outside mounting options:
· Mounting on Drywall â The shutter frame is mounted on the wall area surrounding the opening. There must be a flat wall area wide enough to accommodate the frame.

· Mounting on Molding/Trim â The shutter frame can be mounted on the trim if the trim is flat enough so that the frame can sit on it.

· Mounting Beyond Molding â The shutter frame can also be mounted on the outside of the trim with a frame spacer or an extended frame. Alternatively, the trim can be removed and the shutter mounted in its place.
When mounting outside, makes sure there is enough clearance around the opening for your choice of frame.

2. For Inside Mounts there must be enough depth for the frame to sit inside of the window jambs.
Z frames are highly recommended for all inside mounts. They eliminate problems associated with out of square windows and the need for caulking. Standard frames and hanging strips should only be used in the case of a window with a molding/trim border around it.
