Brackets

·               Standard Mounting Clip: Used for inside or ceiling mounts, and also used in conjunction with extension brackets.

·               Extension Brackets: Extends the back of the shade away from the mounting surface to clear any obstructions. Available in sizes 2”, 2 5/8”, or 3 1/2”. Standard on outside mount shades and used with a standard mounting clip.

Control Options

·               Wand: Open and close the shade by pulling the wand back and forth, along the window.

·               Cord: Open and close the shade by a continuous cord loop control system where the cord retains the same length, no matter what position the blind is in.

Stack Options

·               One-Way Draw: The panels stack to the side of the window of your choice. The lead panel is the one on the outside. The headrail is not reversible. Panel overlap is always 4”

·               SplitDraw: Panels stack at both sides of the shade and split from the middle. The lead panels are the two center ones. The headrail is not reversible and the panel overlap is always 4”

Valance Options

·               Wood Cornice: Crafted from premium hardwood in five popular finishes. Each cornice is of fine furniture quality and L brackets are provided for easy installation. Inside mount has straight cut ends, and no returns or dust cover are provided. Outside mount have mitered corners, 5” returns and a dustcover to conceal the top of the blind. For outside mount, custom returns can be ordered up to 8”, with a minimum return size of 1/2”. Choose from two different styles (regal or noble: described below) and heights (5 1/2” or 7 1/2”). Wood cornices are shipped separate from the blind but the manufacturer recommends installing the blind and the cornice at the same time.

o       Regal Wood Cornice: Available in stained or painted finishes that crowns your shade with style and sophistication.

o       Noble Wood Cornice: A stately design available in stained or painted finishes. It lends an impressive appearance to larger, wider windows.

·               Fabric-Wrapped Cornice: Available in most fabrics (see table at the bottom of this page). It is not available with the natural shade material panel track. Use to create a coordinated statement with your shade or use a bold, contrasting fabric. L brackets are provided for easy installation. Available as outside mount only, and provided with 6” returns only. Polyester batting under the fabric creates an upholstered appearance and a white fabric liner covers the dust cover and inside of the cornice for a finished look. Cornices will be shipped separate from the blind but the manufacturer recommends installing the shade and cornice at the same time.

·               Natural Shade Classic 6” Self Valance: Edge banding will be applied to the sides and bottom of the valance. Valance returns are standard on outside mount blinds and are sized to fit from headrail to the mounting surface. Valance returns are available upon request for inside mount shades. No special valance return lengths or widths are available. Valance returns will not be edge banded. A single valance is available up to 192” in width, but the fabric will not be continuous in these cases.

Liners

·               Privacy Liner: 80/20 poly/cotton blend. It’s colored front and back. Please order soft white if a neutral color is needed facing the street.

·               Blackout Liner: 80/20 poly/cotton blend. All colors are white facing the street. Please scroll down to the bottom of the page for suggested coordinating liner colors to the woven wood color you choose.

Wood Hem Bar: Decorative wood hem bar at the bottom of each panel adds a finishing touch. Available in 5 popular finishes that coordinate with wood valances.

Spliced Blinds: A perfect option for homes or apartments where narrow hallways, elevators, or stairwells make it difficult to move wide blinds. One-way blinds are available up to 192”. The blind operates as one unit after the headrail sections are assembled together. There is a maximum of three headrail sections. For split draw blind, available up to 332”. Split draw blinds over 192” are achieved by pairing two individual one-way blinds together. Each section will operate separately. Panel stack will be to the outside. The maximum number of headrail sections when greater than 192” is 6. Available with wand control only and 4 or 5 channel headrails only. The headrail sections will require assembly at installation.

Mixed Panels: Mix and match fabrics, colors, and textures on one headrail. Any material type can be  mixed together. You must specify the number of panels you want in each material/color. Color Coordination for Liners

Measuring:

·               Inside Mount: Please provide us with exact window measurements, as the manufacturer will make the necessary deductions to ensure a proper fit inside of your window.

·               Outside Mount: Please provide us with the exact measurements of the area you want to cover. The manufacturer recommends adding 3” to each side of the shade to ensure light control and privacy. The manufacturer will not make any deductions.

·               Uncovered Window: If you want the entire window completely uncovered when the shade is open, please scroll down to the bottom of the specifications box.

Uncovered Window: When you want to entire window completely uncovered when the shade is open, please follow these instructions:

o       Determine the clear opening width (typically the window width) for one-way draw or split draw. Be sure to add an additional 3” for privacy and light control to the clear opening before determining the finished blind width.

o       Match the clear opening width with dimension found under Clear Opening Column in the table below. For even spacing, round up width measurement to the next size in the chart. Split draw will have even numbers of panels.

o       Order the corresponding dimension found in the finished blind width column in the table below.
